Changes to the FOLIO timeline as announced on September 19, 2022
Pacing ourselves to FOLIO (Sept 2022-August 2023)
- LSIS (Karen and team) will lead local activities for preparation of new implementation schedule
- Continue data loading to completion
- Review each release to identify progress in gaps (Julie, Erin, Matt); Karen to advocate for remaining gaps in Product council
- LSIS designs and schedules two-week sprints for engagement with DUL SMEs
- FOLIO testing with SMEs will be paused until full data loads are completed
- After data is fully loaded, Sprints would occur after installation of a release and after LSIS has run data validation and testing
- LSIS / Mike Gorrell (Index Data) meetings change from weekly to biweekly
- LSPSG pauses until after selected version is implemented fully on Test server, aiming for Sept 2023 with Poppy
- Local implementations teams move to monthly update meetings until summer 2023. Current frequency resumes once preparation begins for Poppy upgrade
Implementation Period (Sept 2023 - June 2024)
- "Day in the Life" begins for one week with LSPSG to re-initiated LSPSG and introduce FOLIO Poppy in Sept 2023
- Mike Gorrell resumes leadership of implementation schedule
- LSPSG resumes monthly meetings
- Local implementation teams resume
- Integrations tested and focus on remaining gaps for temporary or permanent alternative workflows
NOTES:
- DKU implementation as separate tenant will still begin in January 2023;
- DUL Executive Group will assess FOLIO community / version progress between April-June 2023 as Go/No-Go decision point.
