Ottoman Turkish Titles designation templates
Scope: OTT stands for Ottoman Turkish Titles. This could be adapted for other non-Roman script serial titles that are outsourced. Rachel Lundberg drafted these templates during the project that ran 2014-2015.

General Instructions for recording numbering and dates
- Record all the numbering and dates (designation) on the issue. This includes whole numbering and alternative numbering and dating systems.
Whole numbering example: sene 10, cilt 1, 1335 mart, numara 91

- There are three templates:
- Single Issues
- Use when the issues are not bound, and insert the slip into front of issue.
2. Complete Bound Volumes
- Use when bound volume has all issues (no missing issues). Record the designation (numbering and dates) of the first and last issue is recorded on template “Complete Bound Volumes”. Insert the page at the front of the bound volume.
3. Bound Volume with Gaps
- Use when bound volume has one or more issues missing. Record the designation of all issues in the bound volume. Insert the page(s) at the front of the bound volume.
- These templates only include the common captions (e.g. sene, cilt, sayi). Transliterate and record other captions and numbering in the “Other” column.
