  • An itemized set in Alma is created by starting with a set of data (barcodes, MMS IDs, Holding IDs, etc.).

  • The set should first be saved as a .txt file. Each file requires a heading (first line of .txt file):

    • Barcode heading = Barcodes

    • Holdings heading = Holding ID

    • MMS ID heading = MMS ID

 

  • Each type of file requires a different content type setting:

    • Barcodes = Physical Items

    • Holdings = Physical Holdings

    • MMS ID = Physical Titles or All Titles
