Digital Preservation Working Group (DPWG)

The Digital Preservation Working Group (DPWG) is charged with: 

• Advisory responsibilities related to the use of digital storage for the purpose of preserving digital objects within the DDR, RDR, DukeSpace, and Dark Archive 

• Document and review threats and mitigation responses at regular interval 

• Refine existing and develop new policies and guidelines to ensure that digital storage is used efficiently and effectively 

• Establish and oversee a subgroup of product owners for the Dark Archive 

• In consultation with the Implementation and User Focus teams, make recommendations and proposals to the Governance group
