Information for First Wednesday Presenters

Location: Exclusively virtual at this time

Time: 9 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month, except January and July, which are scheduled around New Year's Day and the July 4th holiday.

Publicity: usually goes out to "DUL All Staff" email list (Perkins, Perkins-branches, Rubenstein, Smith) and the professional school libraries list a week or two before. The FW coordinator will prompt presenters by email for blurbs to include in the email.

Audiovisual capture: occurs through Zoom, and the recording is shared through Warpwire.

Out of consideration for those watching, presenters should try to use a dedicated microphone (USB, bluetooth, or headset) rather than using a microphone built into a laptop. The FW coordinator should check audio and slides from speakers before starting.
