SCL Users that migrated from Aleph to Alma

SCL Users migrated from Aleph to Alma because we couldn’t exempt them from the migration.

For the most part, no SCL users have any fulfillment information in Alma, because all of the loans, fines and requests were closed and thus did not migrate.

What we did see is that if the user had an patron status of 19 in Alma (Special Collections) that they migrated to the patron group as an internal user, and then if they reappeared in the patron feed, they are not getting updated.

The process that we have followed to clean these up is

• Change the patron group from Special Collections to the appropriate new group (staff, faculty, e.g.);

• Write a note on the patron record indicating why you changed the patron group;

• toggle the status to external so that the next full patron load will update the account.
