Directions

  • Option 1: Use a disk that self-encrypts data as it is being written.
  • Option 2: Encrypt data before you write it to disk.  This is the most secure option.
  • Option 3: Zip the files into large files (~ 1 GB), encrypt them, and store in the Scholarly Data Archive (SDA).
