Scope: Describes how to scan new items into the Collections Services Work Order and/or change the process statuses for items. For background information on the CS Work Order and an explanation of how to use process status appropriately, see Tracking Materials through the Collections Services Work Order.

  • Set your department to Perkins/Bostock Library – PERKN Acquisitions Department. Check the “Always show current location” box in order to show this information in the search and menu bar

  • Using the left-navigation pane, choose Fulfillment

  • Under “Resource Requests,” choose “Scan In Items”

  • Use the form to choose the correct process status for the item(s) in hand and scan barcodes into the “Scan item barcode” field

Note: When moving between statuses, leave the “Done” value set to “No.” Change to “No” only when exiting the item from the work order to put it in transit to circulation point.
