VScode is a popular code editor that allows users to write code in a user-friendly GUI (Graphical user interface). With the additional installation of Remote - SSH extension, VSCode can connect to any remote virtual machine. This page shows users how to connect VScode to Azure HPC login nodes. For users that are not familiar with terminal-based text editor such as vim, emacs, VSCode + Remote SSH plugin is a great alternative to write code and develop pipeline on the HPC cluster.
