Alma has very limited “read-only” permissions, and we cannot create custom permissions ourselves.

Alma has:

• Fund-ledger viewer: view only for funds and ledgers

• Course Reserves viewer: view only for course reserves

• Licenses viewer: view and print licenses

In addition, there are a number of administrator roles that can be granted in “read-only” mode.

Permission to edit a calendar for an Alma circulation desk is granted through Circulation Desk Manager for the associated desk.
