Support:

All AV support is handled by OIT (formerly TTS) – they hire and train a set of student workers to handle day-to-day support, and they can often get to a room within 10-15 minutes for direct assistance during a class.

  • For in-class support, it is probably best to call the number listed on the in-room information sheet.
    • Alternately, call OIT's Helpdesk at 919-684-2200
  • https://support.lib.duke.edu – select AV support

Refresh Schedule:

The goal is to replace the room-level equipment (e.g. projectors, flat panels, crestrons) every 8 years, and to replace the in-room computers and Panopto (recording) systems every 4 years.

Note: the following refresh-dates are ESTIMATES ONLY and are subject to any number of factors -- most notably budget. Beyond that, our AV-integrator of choice (TTS) may not have availability at the time we wish to upgrade a room -- we can then either wait for them, or potentially pay more for an external integrator (which will impact other future AV refreshes).
