The following changes need to be communicated to vendors for the Alma migration:
Character encoding must be in UTF-8
Remove year extension from fund code in field 981 $b
For electronic resource records, remove the Duke proxy prefix
Date format must be YYMMDD in field 980 $a
Updates to 049 field:
subfield $a with location code (default NDDP)
subfield $b with barcode if providing shelf-ready
subfield $c with vendor code (see list below)
