Prerequisites

  1. Secure your own environment.

Directions

  1. Option 1: Get a personal, external disk that self-encrypts data as it is being written.
  2. Option 2: Aggregate (zip) the data into large files (~ 1 GB), encrypt it, and store in the Scholarly Data Archive (SDA).
    1. Email the Research Storage team if you need help or more information.

Approvals

SDA is approved for PHI,  but subject to "Shared responsibility model for securing PHI on UITS systems".
