About the Journal Club

• It is an informal meeting intended for easy communication of scientific knowledge across the cosmology group. We encourage active participation of all members, especially junior members.
• Here is a list of Useful Papers suggested for presentation.
• This page  holds the relevant information up to date. There is a slack channel in duke-cosmo called #journalclub with the relevant communications of the meeting
• Presenting rules: 
  1. ~40-50 minutes presentation with questions interspersed throughout the presentation
  2. Presentations should be structured in an efficient way and accompanied by sufficient background information. Please refer to Michael's presentation for examples: Link
  3. Paper can be any arxiv post, if recent much better
• Please feel free to suggest papers or topics for the journal clubs. There is always flexibility to arrange JCs for new topics. We will also ask for suggestion during JCs frequently.
  
• We will do short presentations (~5 min) at the end of JCs in addition to the regular presentations. Please use this opportunity to share new things.
