Instructions for running call number spine labels from Excel

Note: you must have BarcodesIntoLabelProgram.mex available to use in MacroExpress for this workflow.

• Open excel spreadsheet with barcodes

• Log into Aleph and open box for auto scan in barcodes by clicking on "Items" from menu across top of screen

• Then click on "Print Item Labels", as seen below, this will open Print Item Labels box where the barcode will scan in using Macro Express key strokes

• "Print Item Label" box will appear on screen

• Now click Excel spreadsheet from bottom of screen for barcodes

• Make sure the first barcode is activate in excel by click once (and that all other windows are closed, with only Aleph and Excel open)

• Press "ctrl+shift+." [period]

   

Enter the number of barcodes call numbers to print
And click ok

The macro express will begin running barcodes to Aleph box for print call numbers.
