How to Customize Aleph on Your Laptop
Aleph uses IP addresses to determine in which library a staff computer is located. If you had a desktop machine before, you had a static IP address that was assigned to the ethernet port your computer was plugged into. With a laptop, your computer uses a variable IP address provided by wifi. In order for your computer to check-in and check-out items at a specific library in Aleph, you'll need to override the wifi IP address and set a workstation identifier.
Make sure you are connected to the Aleph Production Server, not to Aleph Development
