LTI integration
We have Leganto set up as an external tool for integration with Duke’s instance of Canvas.
The connection is done with an Alma integration profile, and there is one profile for each Canvas subaccount, since we do not support all Duke schools with Leganto.
(Note - as of November 2024 - Erin is not sure if “Canvas-LTI-Sandbox” is actually needed. But it is currently active.)

From Ex Libris documentation: “If the customer uses multiple subaccounts in Canvas to manage different types of courses it is possible for them to create separate LTI Applications for each subaccount. Follow the LTI 1.3 Integration steps above, once for each subaccount. In step 2 Create Developer Key and LTI Application in Canvas where the instructions say Go to Admin->Settings->Apps-> Click the "View App Configurations", the customer should instead go to the subaccount and then Settings->Apps→View App Configurations.”
So basically you want to follow the normal LTI 1.3 steps for Canvas once for each sub-account:
Create integration profile in Alma
Create Developer Key and LTI Application in Canvas
Update integration profile in Alma
with one minor difference: in step 2 under "Create an LTI Application" where we direct you to Go to Admin->Settings->Apps-> Click the “View App Configurations”, you instead want to go to each Sub-Account, then Settings->Apps-> Click the “View App Configurations”
Option 2 - Send a list of subaccounts which need unique LTI integration profiles (prioritized)
Ashley would replicate the current LTI integration profile, as needed, for each subaccount – Suggested name: same but include subaccount – all URLS remain the same.
Erin (and/or Donna) would create a new Alma integration profile for each subaccount – base URLs will be the same in each.
Ashley will send Erin (and/or Donna) the new Client ID and Deployment IDs
Erin (and/or Donna) would add these to Alma matching Integration profile
