Getting Started: Organization Management

Staff affiliated with object-managing collections, whether in a museum or academic department, or imaging facilities who are interested in managing their organization on MorphoSource should follow the steps below.

1. The staff members who will be directly managing content on MorphoSource should request and object data contributor status, since this also enables data management features. For more details see, How To Become A Contributor.

2. Email us and provide:

   1. Information about your organization. If it already exists on MorphoSource, please include the URL for the existing organization page. Otherwise, describe your organization.

   2. Indicate you want to manage the organization and your professional affiliation or role with the organization. We may request additional verification of your identity.

Please note: Multiple MorphoSource users can be members of and manage an organization.
