How does an Organizational Management Team get created?
Museums wishing to have an Organizational Management Team should follow these steps:
- Have *any staff member obtain contributor/manager status (see: How To Become A Contributor) and then create a team according to the instructions (also shown below on this page). We recommend giving the team the same name as the organizational record in MorphoSource.
- Make sure the team visibility status is set to "public"
- Email MorphoSource@duke.edu and provide (1) the url of the team you just created; (2) the url of your organizational record in MorphoSource; (3) state your request that the the two records be linked for management purposes. It is possible that we may request additional verification of your identity but in most cases email address signatures and email suffixs provide clear enough evidence.
*Whomever creates the team will be the initial team manager. However additional managers can be added and/or the initial manager can be removed.
Any contributor can create a team in the following way:
- Login to MorphoSource
- Go to your dashboard or click this link: https://www.morphosource.org/dashboard?locale=en
- click on "New Team" under "create a new record"
, multiple selections available,
