What to do if ReShare might be down

First, verify other websites are coming up and that it's not a general Duke networking issue. 

Assuming it's not a broader network outage:

  1. Report issue to Michael Edwards, Amy Ravenel-Baker, or Andrea Loigman. They will check with RASS and other IPLC resources to see if other schools are also seeing issues. 

    1. James Robinson is the first person to check with during business hours.

    2. Night/weekend process is TBD with James R and Index Data.

  2. If unable to get clarity on issues from other schools colleagues and still having issues connecting to ReShare:

    1. submit a ticket to the Alma group via https://support.lib.duke.edu

  3. LSIS staff:

    1. Investigate error messages in Alma;

    2. Investigate error messages / NCIP in ReShare

  4. If LSIS staff are unable to determine issue, ILR staff should contact James Robinson for escalation to Index Data.
