GOBI UK New & Noteworthy Approval Processing

These instructions pertain to UK approval shipments arriving with the following invoice header:

Books arrive barcoded and with a spine label. They will need New & Noteworthy flags.

Records load in with barcodes in the items and holding records generated.

Batch invoicing can be run with these shipments.

Receipts will need to:

•          Verify the catalog records are copy-level; re-search in OCLC if a more complete record is needed.

•          Change the items to the temporary collection code PKW, with the item status of 05. Check the “temporary location” box before saving changes.
